The Porch is a beautiful blend of historic charm & all the modern comforts. The house was well-stocked, and the living room fireplace made our time warm and cozy. The fenced yard was perfect for our pups! Outstanding host, and hospitality. Highly recommend!
Slept like a bear in hibernation
I absolutely loved staying in the bear room. My bed is so comfortable. I slept like a bear in hibernation. Everything else in the house is as comfortable & cozy as my bed. I can’t wait to come back again & again.

Talk about being spoiled! Every possible item/convenience I needed wrapped in an adoringly charming home. Thank you for putting so much heart into making this feel like a home away from home for us. We will be back
Best Airbnb Experience
We needed a place to spend a long overdue girls weekend and this place fit the bill. It was honestly one of my best Airbnb experiences! Everything was exactly as expected and when you walked in it felt immediately at home! The house is full of lots of character (shout out to clawfoot tub!) and can tell so much care was put into making sure everything was comfortable. The layout was perfect for the size of our group, we had plenty of space for chats and games but also could separate and feel relaxed in our own spaces. Our host, Wendy made us feel so welcome and told us all the best places to hit around town (we loved Corks and Coal Chute Cafe!). We also loved using the kitchen to cook and chat over meals. The kitchen had everything you could ever need (which is not the case with most places). I loved that each of the bedrooms were themed and decorated perfectly. Beds were comfortable and the whole place was just so cozy! Will definitely be back and next time with our pups!
Felt right at home...
The Porch was such a great place - I felt right at home immediately. Everything is stocked so well, I did not need to worry at all. Loved the coffee/tea bar, the comfy couch and fireplace, and I slept like a baby in the bear room (1st floor). This place has so much character and charm. Wow!
Wow! Such a beautiful and welcoming home, with every amenity you could imagine. The Porch is comfortable in every possible way, from the wonderful beds, plush towels, beautiful dining table, comfy couch, to the Adirondack chairs by the fire pit… it is obvious that great care and attention was put into setting up this home. As someone with limited mobility, the step next to the gorgeous claw-foot tub with cast iron piping for grab bars was a perfect set-up! The “littles” room off of the master is beyond fun and magical! Wendy is a wonderfully responsive host and goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are happy, comfortable, and gave a wonderful visit to Roslyn. We will definitely be back!
A 10/10 Family Weekend
This has been such a wonderful, family-friendly location. We brought our two children, ages 3 and 5, as well as our family dog. Our children loved the attached playroom with the tent, and we loved the fenced-in backyard. We knew they were safe while enjoying playing in the snow. The inside was so cozy, and they had everything we needed, from toys for the kids to a bed for the dog. We also spent some time downtown and all the businesses were kind and family-friendly. Overall a 10/10 weekend getaway.
Winter Magic in Roslyn
The Porch is one of the coziest places we’ve vacationed. We showed up & it was snowing outside — we spent our first day curled up on the couch, drinking coffee, reading books, & watching the snowfall through the living room windows. Downtown Roslyn is a short walk or 2 minute drive away. We shopped, hiked, & closed out the night at the Brick, having drinks & listening to live music. What a beautiful place to have a weekend.

Wow! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Porch! The house is so well equipped… we never had to lack for a thing. The beds are super comfy and the living room warm and cozy. We sprawled out on the big couch watching the football game with the fireplace blazing. Thank you and we can’t wait to return.
